The passion had gone..

I was a man in trouble... watching, helplessly as my marriage, dreams and my life slowly crumbled around me. I couldn't see what I was supposed to do and it was destroying me.

We’d enjoyed the honey moon period and moved into the committed relationship stage… Marriage had followed on very naturally and we’d had many fun times together.

However as the years passed by we started to drift apart. It wasn’t just the passionate sex that started to dry up, but the intimate moments of connection began to become less frequent too…

I began to wonder if this was simply what happened over the years and it was all inevitable and maybe this was just what happened. The thought of living like this forever filled me with dread… and things were clearly not improving.

We’d become like so many other couples… We still loved each but the passion and fun had been replaced with frustration, arguments and some infrequent, average sex.

What concerned me the most was that the many hours of counselling hadn’t really changed things at the core. Something was clearly missing and we were stuck.

The discovery of a new way...

So I set off on a 9 week journey, sleeping in the back of my car, with one single purpose... to figure out how to fix my marriage.

I needed answers...

Why was there so much constant negative tension between us?

What was the underlying issue that was driving us apart? 

How could I get the love and passion back between us?

And what did it actually mean to be a great man and a great partner?

Little did I know how the journey would change my life…Over the months away I searched my heart, and went to the very edge to find my truth… And with the help of some powerful and amazing men I was able to see where I could do things very differently!

I discovered that what I had been taught about being a good man was only a piece of the puzzle…

That trying to please my wife by always being a ‘good boy’’ would never truly satisfy her or attract her long term.

That part of the answer was to embody the ‘good parts’ of the ‘bad boy’ into who I was. 

And that many of the things I thought would drive her away would actually bring us closer together.

Before I even arrived home I could feel the balance of power and love returning to me.

I knew I had found the answers I’d been looking for and 5 years later I can see I was right

When I changed... EVERYTHING in our relationship changed. I was in fact the key to everything all along.

Upon returning home I stepped straight into our relationship as a NEW MAN with all of my new found POWER and LOVE.

No longer a victim, no longer waiting to be directed by my partner. For the first time in my life I wasn’t trying to be somebody else or please anybody. I was living life to the fullest and Jenni loved it. 

Today after 26 years together, our love is deeper, our connection stronger and the SEX IS BETTER than ever before.  

And it hasn’t always been this way
